My name is Reid, I’m 9 years old and have a little rascal brother named Ryder. I am a car fanatic, love driving my ATV and going to car shows. I also collect everything from match box cars to Pokémon cards to antiques and play basketball and golf. I also happen to have a brain tumor, which I’ve been treated for since I was 2 years old. I love sharing my story to inspire other kids to PERSEVERE, STAY STRONG and NEVER GIVE UP while also raising money for my amazing doctors and researchers to help other kids like me.

A Message of  Perseverance from Reid & George

In August of 2016, a few days after our son Reid’s 2nd birthday, our worlds were turned upside down when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Every parent’s worst nightmare. As new and first-time parents faced with the unimaginable, we quickly became advocates, researchers and amateur scientists searching out the best minds for a cure or treatment option for our son’s very rare and underfunded type of brain tumor. When this journey began for us, we knew immediately that we wanted to bring purpose to our journey and pour our heartache and grief into a movement that would make a real impact for children suffering from rare cancers.
We formed Reid's Wolfpack and had no idea the real impact it would have on our lives.
Over the past 7 years Reid’s Wolfpack has raised over $350K with 100% of funds directly impacting scientists and researchers. Reid’s Neuro Oncology team at Memorial Sloan Kettering have been the direct benefactors so that they can continue to fund and move clinical trials forward that Reid has benefitted from.
We stand here years later in utter awe at the incredible advancements in science and what they have afforded this 9-year-old superhero boy.
